Cassie was born in my first litter of four girls from Misty, Exeleigh Forget-Me-Not of Zandvoort who was my foundation bitch in 1996. She is by Ch Vanwall Cheyenne Brave of Annanett and what a wonderful puppy to keep. She was the smallest in the litter but she had something about her she was so pretty and such a character.
At her first show at six months Cassie beat her mum and Connor the dog I was showing at the time, and won Best of Breed. At 13 months she went to the North of England Keeshond Ch Show under John Arran and won her First CC and Best in Show.
She carried on climbing up the classes and winning her way out of each class. Then in 1999 at Crufts she did it again, she won limit Bitch then was awarded the CC and later BOB by the well known allrounder Mr Ellis Hulme. What a day.
Cassie was awarded her crown in 2000. by breed specialist Mrs Doris Purdon of the famous Vanwall kennel. The dog CC that day was her younger half brother Danny, Zandvoort Dream maker of Ledwell. Cassie also won BOB.
Cassie went on to win another CC in August 2001. under Mrs Liz Wogan.
In 2002 Cassie and me went to Chatsworth House in Derbyshire for the filming of the Crufts programme and met some of the top breeders in the Utility group.
As a veteran Cassie was placed in the Utility Group at Darlington Ch Show
